It's Compostable : Shredded Paper

It's Compostable : Shredded Paper
Because of the inherant mess, shredded paper is usually discouraged from curbside recycling. I use the shred to line the bottom of my kitchen compost bucket, all the wet stuff and liquids that would normally start the smelly process of anaerobic bacterial action are absobed. The odor and mess are reduced and when the pail is emptied the shred breads down quiet readily. It's also a great way to keep sensitive documents from identity thieves.
