Why Are Fire Engines Red ?

Why are fire engines red,
roses are red too,
two and two is four,
four and four is eight,
four and eight is twelve,
there are 12 inches in a ruler,

hey! Queen Mary was a ruler,
Queen Mary was a ship,
ships sail on seas,
fish swim on seas,
fish have fins,
the Finns fought the Russians,
Fire engines are always rushin'

- THAT'S why fire engines are red!

This classic fire engine is at the Little Falls NJ Fire Company Number One
