Riverside Church ~ Autumn View

Modeled after Chartres Cathedral in France, Riverside Church is an interdenominational landmark in New York City.

In 1922 the congregation of the Park Avenue Baptist Church, with the major financing and support of John D. Rockefeller, Jr. set forth plans for the church, construction was completed in 1930.

Grant's Tomb is in the same neighborhood.
