Roosting Grass Parrots At Turtle Back Zoo

Native to Australia, Budgies, also called Grass Parrots, have lived in the drier parts of that continent for about 5 million years. The native species are yellow and green but captive breeders have produced blue and white birds, some of which make their home at Turtle Back Zoo.
