Looking more like something one would expect to find in Los Angeles this bit of Freeway Art was spotted on Broad Street in Clifton NJ where the roadway passes under an ramp connecting the Garden State Parkway to Route 3.
Simple stencils were used to create the umbrellas and raindrops - adding a bit of whimsy to an otherwise mundane piece of infrastucture.
These underpass murals in Clifton were created by Greg Baron who, with the help of local children, painted them in conspicuous areas that could benefit from some sprucing up. Greg Baron is also an amazing pianist (was piano tuner for the Grateful Dead for 8 years), singer, and voice actor who donates his time in support of local children's causes in his community.
