The Montclair Animal Shelter in Montclair NJ is unique among municipal shelters as it is a no-kill shelter. Cats that otherwise might be put down in other shelters, like elderly, feral, FIV+ and FELV cats get special care from the dedicated staff so they can be put up for adoption. The resources to care for these special animals comes from the generous donations of the public and local businesses who support the shelter.
